Sunday 25th August - NEWF FEST Fun Day
We are excited to announce that NEWF FEST will be returning for the 3rd year running at Rother Valley Country Park, Sheffield! We will be holding all of your favourites including introductions to working (water rescue, draught & scent work), fun have a go activities, a dog show, grooming seminar, low impact agility, stalls and there's much more to be announced. The event is a good opportunity to meet other Newfoundland owners and learn more about the breed, however as usual it's open to all breeds, we've had everything from Cocker Spaniels to Leonbergers! Every year it gets bigger and better. We will also be hosting certified water tests levels A - E.
EVENT INFORMATION
Entry & Parking
Rother Valley Country Park is located a short drive from junction 31 of the M1 motorway in Wales Bar, Sheffield, S26 5PQ. The event itself will be taking place on the main lake adjacent to the Cable Ski area. Entry is free however parking charges apply that are set by the venue, these charges will be waived for campers, day visitors will be charged £1.75 for the first hour, increasing by £1 an hour up to a maximum of £6.50. There will be a small charge per dog to take part in the activities - please bring cash where possible and there will be card machines available. The NEWF FEST fun day on Sunday 25th August is open to ALL BREEDS of dog. The NNC certified water tests on 24th & 26th August will need to be pre-booked and these tests are open to Newfoundland dogs only. Again, spectators are more than welcome on these days if you'd like to watch the dogs in a working environment.

Note that the tests are open to Newfoundland dogs only due to being held under the Northern Newfoundland Club.
ACCESS: Entry over the bridge and into the park will be restricited between the hours of 08:45 & 09:30 on Saturday 24th August due to a park run that is taking place. Please make arrangements to either arrive early or later when access re-opens for the start of our first day of water tests.
Camping
Limited on site camping is available - please book early to avoid disappointment. There are no electric hookup's on site, however generators will be permitted between the hours of 8am & 10pm. Showers are available at the water sports centre during opening hours and temporary toilets will be situated within the campsite. There is also a cafe/fixed toilets on site which will be open during park times. Pitch sizes are 8m x 10m per booking and will be clearly marked, note that all units, awnings etc will need to fit within this space to adhere to fire & safety regulations and to allow sufficient room for emergency vehicle access. Unfortunately we are unable to reserve pitches so please arrive onsite at the same time as friends/family to be allocated adjacent spaces. Parking is free for campers - please include your vehicle registration when booking, this will be submitted into the parks automatic barrier system.
